uAttend Biometric Data Retention Policy

A Definition. “Biometric Identifiers” means a “Biometric Identifier,” as defined under the relevant laws governing biometric information.

Workwell Technologies and its affiliates may collect, capture, receive, possess, store, transmit, or otherwise obtain biometric identifiers or biometric information solely for the purpose of providing workforce management and time and attendance services.

Biometric identifiers may include data derived from fingerprint or facial recognition technology used by uAttend time clocks.

Biometric information will be used only for the purposes of verifying employee identity for time and attendance tracking.

Workwell Technologies will not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from biometric identifiers or biometric information.

Biometric data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.

After the initial purpose has been satisfied, biometric identifiers will be permanently destroyed within a reasonable timeframe consistent with applicable laws.

Workwell Technologies will use reasonable standards of care to store, transmit, and protect biometric data from disclosure.

Biometric data will be protected using security measures that meet or exceed industry standards.

Employees and users may request additional information about biometric data collection, storage, or deletion.
